Paula Gordaliza Pastor has been awarded one of the 2023 Vicent Caselles Mathematical Research Awards from the Spanish Royal Mathematical Society and the BBVA Foundation. Her PhD thesis, funded by the CIMI LabEx and directed by Fabrice Gamboa and Jean-Michel Loubes from IMT and Eustasio del Barrio from Valladolid, aimed at correcting biases in artificial intelligence algorithms.
