Antoine Benoit, maître de conférences at Littoral Côte d’Opale University (North of France), is on a CNRS supported delegation at the Toulouse Mathematics Institute (IMT) for six months. His main domain is the study of hyperbolic partial differential equations, both from a discrete and continuous point of view. He is particularly interested in such systems when they occur in “complex” geometries.
