Welcome to my web page!
Introduction
I am Maître de conférences (assistant professor) in statistics at Université Toulouse III Paul Sabatier. I am a member of the Institut de Mathématiques de Toulouse and of the recent AOC project. Previously, I carried out a PhD under the supervision of Gilles Stoltz at École Normale Supérieure, Paris.

Address
Institut de Mathématiques de Toulouse, bâtiment 1R1, bureau 101 Université Paul Sabatier 118, route de Narbonne 31062 TOULOUSE Cedex 9
Research interests
My research interests are in statistics, theoretical machine learning, and applications. I am particularly interested in the interplay between the following fields (where the assumptions can range from the classical i.i.d. setting to an adversarial environment):
Online learning (prediction of individual sequences, bandit problems, etc).
 Highdimensional or nonparametric regression.
 Minimax lower bounds.
Applications: recommender systems, ad auctions, aircraft trajectory optimization.
News
I visited UC Berkeley (invited by Peter Bartlett) in SeptemberOctober 2017.
In September 2016 we started the AOC project that gathers about 20 people working in machine learning from different perspectives (statistics, optimization, image processing, computer science, natural language processing, etc). "AOC" stands for "Apprentissage, Optimisation et Complexité".
