Activities

This is a hodge podge of some things I helped organize or merely took part in.  Just to give you an idea of the math I may like, and that I may know something about (but usually, much less than what you may imagine).  Also a way to say thank you to the colleagues who made those things possible.

Séminaire d'analyse réelle

This seminar was started in 2009 at the Institut de Mathématiques de Toulouse to house talks in all sorts of analysis that couldn't fit in other existing seminars, harmonic analysis, operator theory, function theory... Stefanie Petermichl took over coordination in September 2014.

GdR AFHP (Analyse Fonctionnelle et Harmonique et Probabilités)

This "groupement de recherche", a vast network covering several themes in analysis over the French territory, was started by Jean Esterle and continued by several energetic colleagues. I am its Toulouse correspondent.

ANR FRAB (FRAmes and Bases)

I was proud and happy to be a rank-and-file member of this ANR project that ran from 2010 to 2013, with Alexander Borichev at the helm.

One conference took place in Toulouse, run by Stefanie Petermichl and me.

KAWA

KAWA is a series of intensive schools-cum-conferences aimed at bridging the gap between analysis in several complex variables and complex geometry. It is the brainchild of Vincent Guedj, and has known 5 editions since 2010, KAWA 1, KAWA 2, KAWA 3, KAWA 4, KAWA-Nordan, with the 6th edition scheduled for 2015.

In the Spring of 2009, we had a wonderful workshop in Jaca, Aragon with people from both sides of the Pyrenees.  Eva Gallardo did most of the work.
