14:00 Linear systems on graphs with a real structure

Marc Coppens (Katholieke Hogeschool Kempen, K.U.Leuven)

A degeneration from smooth curves to certain types of singular curves gives rise to a specialization map from divisors on curves to divisors on graphs. This map is studied by Baker and he proves that this map preserves linear equivalence. In this talk we consider this specialization map in case the degeneration is defined over the real numbers. In that case the graph has a real structure. We consider real divisors on graphs with a real structure and we discuss similarities and differences with the case of real curves. We show that the specialization map preserves the real structure.
