The trimester Partial Differential Equations & Probability will take place from February 2104 to the end of May 2014. The organisors are Martin Hairer (invited for the period), Dominique Bakry, Serge Cohen and Jean-Michel Roquejoffre. This trimester will include a post-doctoral course from M. Hairer over a period of 8 weeks, a thematic school and a number of thematic weeks.

Our aim is to attract researchers (especially young colleagues) working in Analysis or in Probability, who may have not worked on the interface between the two fields before. Hence The talks, and the lectures will start with reminders of basic concepts for graduate students to allow the different communauties to merge. A lot of time will be devoted to informal discussions.

PhD students and young researchers who would like to participate to one or several events organized during the trimester are welcome and shall contact the organizers. Financial support covering local expenses might be obtained from CIMI.
