collaborations. In the period 2005-2009 forty projects have been funded
involving over 60 members. With these cooperations under tender or
formal agreements are in addition to numerous bilateral scientific
collaborations involving more than 150 permanent members of the
The MELISSA project (Mathematical Statistics In E-Learning for Latin and South America) and the project FICUS (French Indian Cyber University in Science) concerning training activities at doctoral and post-doctoral and aim to strengthen or create networks of excellence in research and teaching between IMT and relevant partners.
The IMT is also a partner with the International Associated Laboratory of Uruguay and International Associated Laboratory with Mexico.
